We are pleased to invite you to 'Brazil: A Landscape in Motion', a multimedia international conference addressing questions of identity, processes of social change and cultural transformation in the world's largest Lusophone republic. This one-day event, kindly hosted by Goldsmiths, University of London, will take place on 22 May 2013.It is with great pleasure that we also invite you to attend the launch of an exciting new book, entitled "Lusophone hip-hop. 'Who we are–Where we are' -identities, urban culture and languages of belongings ". This unique collection, edited by Rosana Martins and Massimo Carnevacci brings together a range of scholarly essays exploring pertinent questions about identity formation, subculture and political expression in Lusophone territories.
